The Swedish government is broken, so I have to go north.

Sundsvall is an arctic town full of terrifying dragons.

It has a hotel that is famous because a horse once walked up its stairs.

I guess that’s something to be proud of.

But their neighbors are much more impressive.

Their river is also pretty nice.

As is their bay.

As is their girl-in-a-cat-suit-watching-a-cat statue.

This town must have a rich and vibrant history.

When I get home, we celebrate!

Sometimes, even a dog deserves champagne.

“Uppehållstillstånd” is Swedish for “we decided to not deport you.”
