The Springs We Sprang (2024)

Spring sprang, and we had visitors.

We put another round of hops in the ground.

We put a lot of other things in the ground, too.

The early vegetables sprang into action.

I built some physics experiments. Snoots!

And snooted myself.

And soft-boxed myself, to boot.

Then off to the hinterlands!

For a weekend in a cute cottage.

To celebrate Yasaman's birthday!

She kicked up her feet and relaxed.

While the dogs celebrated her birthday.

And the legless lizards celebrated her birthday.

And the humans celebrated her birthday.

With dark, candle-lit nights.

And bright, sunlit days.

But there was no sauna for our sauna hotdogs.

We checked the local palace for a sauna.

And asked the local bird people for advice.

Yasaman presented a lion.

Yes, what a nice lion.

Then she presented another.

An even nicer lion.

Lacking sauna dogs, we settled for fish.

And paid a visit to nature.

Then nature paid us a visit back.
