Garden State (2024)

The days got bright and hot.

So we ate some raw fish.

And raised our defenses.

This ought to keep the deer out of our vegetables!

It did not keep the deer out of our vegetables.

But the vegetables came up anyway.

Some cute little pumpkins are born.

And a hundred slug salads. I mean bok choys.

At home, the balcony chilis spiced up.

Let's go see how other gardens are doing.

But first a dip in the sea.

Carefully avoiding the legless lizards.

The palace gardens are doing fine.

In the distance, the bray of sheepsies.

The sheepsies would love our garden.

Do sheep like daikon?

As summer progresses, the pumpkins do too.

And strawberry season comes.

And raspberry season approaches.

When it gets nice and lush…

It's time to take.

Not bad.
