A Change in the Weather
A Change in the Weather
So much for the summer of the shark.
The autumn got dark so fast, I know.
We’re stitching up the seams.
Make it all a dream.
And the truth just goes.
So much for the way you held my hand.
And all our shining plans.
I gave alluding up with filthy lungs.
Slipping back to rungs,
we left below.
So, so much for the summer of the shark.
Autumn was a lark
to you I know,
A turning of the key.
A breaking of the weekend,
of the slow.
Now everywhere I look I get depressed.
I think I’ll wear a dress.
To disassociate myself from them.
Oh but then again,
How would you know?
Oh, and your red wagon.
I hope the wheels fall off there soon.
We see our world come crashing.
And you’re still trying to sell the moon.
Do do do do doooooo.
So much for the summer of the shark.
Autumn got dark so fast,
I know.
